"Come, follow me."
Jesus said those three words to four fishermen on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. They dropped their nets and went.
His invitation hasn't changed. It still reaches people at work, in the middle of ordinary life, with no résumé to show for it.
Follow Jesus is a 50-day devotional through the Gospel of Matthew. Matt LeRoy walks you through how Jesus lived, who he spent time with, and what he asked of the people who followed him.
It's not about a system of beliefs. It's not about a church or a denomination. It's about a person, and his invitation to you.
You'll find stories that make you laugh, questions that make you squirm, and a simple daily rhythm you can actually keep.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
MEET MATT LeROY
Matt LeRoy is a long time friend of Blackbird Mission. He and Daron have worked in ministry alongside and around each other for over 25 years.
He is a writer, teacher, pastor, and ministry guide. His work all flows from one central calling: Follow Jesus.
He has spent his entire carrier helping people read the Gospels as a story about a person, not a rulebook. He wrote Follow Jesus for the friend who keeps asking what following Jesus actually looks like on a Tuesday.
WHY BLACKBIRD IS BEHIND THIS
"I've known Matt for over 25 years. He's one of the few people I know who can teach Matthew and make you laugh and squirm in the same five minutes. When he told me about Follow Jesus, I knew Blackbird had to get it in front of as many people as we could. If you've ever wondered what it looks like to actually follow Jesus, start here."
~ Daron Earlewine, Blackbird Mission
